I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University as well as my certificate in marriage and family therapy from Denver Family Institute. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado and teach counseling classes at Colorado Christian University. My additional training in systems work equips me to work with individuals, families and couples. I use a strength based approach rooted in solution focused therapy with an emphasis on attachment and emotions. I currently work for Envision Counseling Clinic in Castle Rock, CO. At Envision our therapists integrate Christian beliefs with sound psychological research, and respect the complicated nature of our clients’ concerns. By bringing together a psychologist with counselors who have a wide range of specialties, our Christian counseling center is able to help our clients open up new possibilities and move forward.
I believe wholeheartedly that we are created to be in relationship with one another and that healing takes place in the context of those relationships. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to be your most vulnerable and authentic self. I am able to hold hope for my clients until they are ready to hold that hope for themselves.
As part of my continued development, I have earned a biblical certificate from Colorado Christian University. My faith and relationship with the Lord is an important part of who I am and why I have chosen this work. In my spare time you can find me spending time with my family and dog, baking, or enjoying Colorado's beautiful scenery through my camera lens.
